She married Hugh Walker Hawes May 9, 1829 in New Orleans, Louisiana while Hugh Walker was working in the law office of her father Judge de Rion. Their first three children were born in New Orleans. They returned to Ky., and evidently lived in Davies County where she died in 1840 soon after the birth of their fourth child.
